Scene
1- Hangout
(Mack
is at a table when Chloe walks up.)
Chloe
Jones-
Mack.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Chloe.
Chloe
Jones-
So.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
So.
Chloe
Jones-
Are you going to the homecoming dance with Angie?
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Yeah, who are you going with?
Chloe
Jones-
No one. Ever since me and Lucas broke up, I haven't been seeing
anyone.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Yeah, you suck with men.
Chloe
Jones-
Excuse me.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
I'm sorry, but it's true.
Chloe
Jones-
I bet I could find a date in time for the dance. A lot of men would
love to come to homecoming with me.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
How about we put some money on this? Five hundred bucks.
Chloe
Jones-
Deal.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Here are the rules: They have to want to come with you. You can't pay
them or do anything. They have to ask you.
Chloe
Jones-
Fine.
(Mack and Chloe shake hands,
and Chloe walks away.)
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Best five hundred bucks I ever made.
Scene 2- Principal
Higginbottom's Office
(Principal Higginbottom is
at her desk when Penelope walks in.)
Clair
Higginbottom-
Penelope, come sit down.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What, I didn't do anything.
Clair
Higginbottom-
Yes, I know, I need you to do me a favor.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What is it?
Clair
Higginbottom-
I need you to give this new girl a tour of the island.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
It depends, who is this chick first of all?
Clair
Higginbottom-
Her name is Veronica. Her last name is super long and
unpronounceable.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Why do I have to do it?
Clair
Higginbottom-
Because there's a chance of her becoming the new bad girl in school.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
No, no way. There will not be another bad girl in school. That's my
job. I've had that job for the past two years. I plan on having it a
third and fourth.
Clair
Higginbottom-
Just give her the dang tour.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Fine, bring her in.
(Clair opens the door and
Veronica walks in.)
Veronica-
Is it time yet? I've been waiting for an hour.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Well, get use to waiting around here. You need to be patient.
Clair
Higginbottom-
Penelope, when were you ever patient to begin with?
Penelope
Ann Huff-
If you want me to give this girl a tour, then you need to go along
with this.
Clair
Higginbottom-
OK.
(Clair Higginbottom gives
Penelope a thumbs up.)
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Let's go, Veronica.
(Penelope grabs Veronica by
the arm and walks out of the office.)
Scene 3- Girls Mansion
(Mack and Angie are on the
couch when Chloe storms in and slams the door.)
Chloe
Jones-
YOU ARE SO DEAD TO ME, ANGIE PAGE.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Whoa, what did she do?
Chloe
Jones-
Principal Higginbottom said that she lives here now.
Angie
Page-
I thought you knew.
Chloe
Jones-
Well I do now. What made you think you could just move in here?
Angie
Page-
I never asked to. Principal Higginbottom asked me to. She said each
mansion had to have at least three people and that you and Penelope
couldn't even be trusted alone before the paramedics have to show up.
Chloe
Jones-
I hate to say it but it's true.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
So Chloe, have you found someone for homecoming?
(Mack gives an evil grin.)
Chloe
Jones-
Um, I, uh.... Get out of my mansion.
Angie
Page-
Let's go upstairs, Mack. Maybe we can set Chloe's room on fire.
(Mack and Angie walk
upstairs.)
Chloe
Jones-
This is why my uncle Stan is a lawyer.
(Chloe leaves the mansion.)
Scene 4- Boom Ba Boom
(Penelope and Veronica walk
in to be greeted by Larry.)
Larry
Martinez-
Penelope Ann Huff, what are you doing here? I thought you were in
prison.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Well, I'm not.
(Penelope turns to Larry.)
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Veronica, this is Larry Martinez. He is the geek that runs the best
restaurant slash nightclub ever.
Larry
Martinez-
Excuse me, but I don't like to be called a geek. I prefer to-
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Zip it, Larry. I just gave your restaurant a complement. I don't
think you want me to take it back.
Veronica-
Listen, Leo-
Larry
Martinez-
It's Larry.
Veronica-
First of all, don't you EVER interrupt me while I'm talking. Second
of all, we want a booth with a great view.
Larry
Martinez-
I'm sorry but booth nine is reserved for Mackenzie Dylan Cooper and
Alana Rivera-Cooper.
(Veronica lifts up Larry by
the shoulders.)
Veronica-
Listen here Leo or Luke or whatever your name is. You will give us
that seat or else.
Larry
Martinez-
Or else what?
Veronica-
Let's just say, people will be calling you Ms. Martinez. Not Mr.
Martinez.
Larry
Martinez-
OK, OK, you can have the booth.
(Larry screams and runs
away.)
Veronica-
Penelope, maybe you should takes some notes on how to be the bad girl
of this island.
(Veronica walks away.)
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Scene 5- The Pier
(Chloe is at a table with a
sign that says “Need a Date For Homecoming: Ask Me Now”.)
Chloe
Jones-
God, how long does it take for a decent man who doesn't have a date
to the homecoming dance to show up?
(Penelope walks up. She
reads the sign and then starts to laugh.)
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Wow Chloe, this is so stupid.
Chloe
Jones-
It could totally work.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What if Mack sees it?
Chloe
Jones-
He won't. I can be sure of that. Hey, shouldn't you be giving
Veronica a tour of the island or something?
Penelope
Ann Huff-
God I can't stand Veronica. She is a total moron.
Chloe
Jones-
At least you don't have to put up with Mack. If I don't find a date
in time for the dance, then I'll owe Mack five hundred dollars.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Well you either need to make yourself more appealing to men or save
up five hundred dollars.
(Chloe starts looking around
when she sees Troy.)
Chloe
Jones-
Penelope, Troy could work. He's kind of cute.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
You mean the captain of the football team? It would take you a
miracle for him to ask you out. Maybe not for me though. It would
just take a snap of the fingers and he'll be following me everywhere.
(Troy walks over.)
Troy-
Hey girls.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Hi Troy.
Troy-
Um, hey Piper.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
It's Penelope. Not Piper.
Troy-
Whatever.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
So do you like what I've done with my hair?
Troy-
Um, you went from a curly long red head, to a curly black and blue,
to a straight brown hair with short, bad bangs. I really don't care
about hair. I'm here to talk to Chloe. At least she sticks with the
same hair style.
Chloe
Jones-
Why would someone as hot as you wanna talk to me?
Troy-
I wanted to ask you to homecoming.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
WHAT?
Chloe
Jones-
Really?
Troy-
Yeah, you're cute and you're nice.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What about me?
Troy-
I'm sorry Penelope but you're neither. I'm almost a hundred percent
positive that that isn't even your real nose. Plus, you're more
shallow than the phrase drama queen herself.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
This is too my real nose. By the way, you can-
(Chloe pushes her over the
boat dock and into the water.)
Chloe
Jones-
I'm sorry, Penelope, but I was not gonna take any chances on letting
you finish that sentence.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Scene 6- Girls Mansion:
Angie's Room
(Angie was putting on
lipstick when Chloe storms in with a shredded fat puffy pink dress.)
Chloe
Jones-
ANGELA PAGE, YOU ARE SO DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Angie grabs a knife that
was hidden under her mattress and holds it up.)
Angie
Page-
First of all, Chloe, what did I do?
Chloe
Jones-
You ruined my homecoming dress.
Angie
Page-
What are you talking about?
Chloe
Jones-
I think you know.
(Chloe steps closer and
Angie starts waving the knife around.)
Angie
Page-
S- Stay back before I call the cops.
(Chloe's eye starts
twitching and her teeth start scratching.)
Angie
Page-
C- Chloe, I swear, I did not touch your dress.
Chloe
Jones-
LIAR!!!
Angie
Page-
Why would I even care about even care about that old pink dress.
Chloe
Jones-
Because you care about Mack, and we all know Mack hates me.
(While Chloe is yelling,
Angie grabs her pepper spray.)
Angie
Page-
Don't make me use this.
Chloe
Jones-
You won't have to if you would fix my dress.
Angie
Page-
OK, OK, how about instead I just give you a dress?
(Angie pulls her short tight
sparkling red dress from her closet.)
Angie
Page-
How do you like this? You can use this for homecoming.
Chloe
Jones-
I guess it's alright.
Angie
Page-
Good, now please leave.
(Chloe grabs the dress and
leaves.)
Scene 7- Homecoming Dance
(Penelope walks in with her
hair in a bun and wearing a really tight short black dress with
black high-heels and a black leather purse. Principal Higginbottom
walks up.)
Clair
Higginbottom-
Penelope.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What now? I already gave Veronica a tour. I am not hanging by her at
this dance.
Clair
Higginbottom-
Penelope, I'm not talking about Veronica. I'm talking about how
inappropriately you're dressed. Does your mother let you dress that
way?
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Principal Higginbottom, my mother encourages me to dress this way.
She says it attracts men.
Clair
Higginbottom-
Maybe in prison, where your mother thinks you are after the beginning
of the summer.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Shut up about that. At least Lilly is still there.
Clair
Higginbottom-
Yeah, she's stuck there for life because of you.
(Principal
Higginbottom walks away. Over by the entrance. Mack and Angie walk
in.)
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
This homecoming will be the best.
Angie
Page-
How come?
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Because freshman year, we were stuck trying to prove that Trevor's
date Natalia was just using him. Then during sophomore year I was
stuck coming here with Penelope.
Angie
Page-
Wow, that stinks having to go with Penelope or Chloe.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Speaking of which, I can't wait to see who Chloe comes in with. I
also can't wait to her wearing the same ugly puffy pink dress again.
Angie
Page-
Oh, about that. I lent her my short sparkly red dress.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!?!?!?
Angie
Page-
Because I felt bad for her and it looked like she had a knife in her
back pocket.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
This better not have interfered with that bet.
(Mack storms away. Over by
the punch bowl, Penelope is getting punch when Chloe walks up in the
short tight sparkly red dress with black high-heels and her hair
curly.)
Chloe
Jones-
Hey, Penelope. How do I look?
(Penelope spits out her
drink.)
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What are you wearing?
Chloe
Jones-
Angie lent this to me.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
I hate to say it but you are working the curly hair. Troy will love
it.
(Troy walks up.)
Troy-
He certainly does.
Chloe
Jones-
Oh, hi, Troy.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
I'll just leave you two alone.
(Penelope walks away. Mack
walks up.)
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Well, well, well, if it isn't Chloe Jones. Don't tell me you're
really here with Troy.
Chloe
Jones-
I am.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Does he really like you?
Chloe
Jones-
I don't know.
(Chloe turns to Troy.)
Chloe
Jones-
Do you really like me Troy?
Troy-
Um, well, I, uh, I'm just gonna say it. This is a pity date.
Chloe
Jones-
WHAT!!!
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
I knew this would screw up someway, somehow.
(Over by Penelope. Veronica
walks up.)
Veronica-
Nice dress.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What do you want?
Veronica-
I wanna know why you hate me.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Because my best friend Lilly was arrested this summer and all of a
sudden after two years of being the school bad girl. Someone arrives
as competition.
Veronica-
Who said there had to be competition?
Penelope
Ann Huff-
What do you mean?
Veronica-
I mean that we can both work together as a team.
Penelope
Ann Huff-
Wow, you're not so bad after all. Walk with me.
(Penelope and Veronica walk
away. Back over to Mack, Chloe, and Troy.)
Chloe
Jones-
Troy, why would you ask me out on a pity date?
Troy-
Because I heard about your bet, and I wanted to help you.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Alright, Chloe. I want five hundred bucks up front by tomorrow.
Chloe
Jones-
ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Chloe storms away.)
Scene 8- Hangout
(Mack was at a table when
Chloe walks up with money in her hands.)
Chloe
Jones-
Here's the money I owe you.
(Chloe hands it to him but
he refuses to take it.)
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Keep it.
Chloe
Jones-
Why?
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
We need to talk.
Chloe
Jones-
What about?
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Us.
Chloe
Jones-
But you're with Angie.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
I'm not talking about getting back together. I'm talking about our
bickering. It needs to stop.
Chloe
Jones-
I agree.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
We should at least settle down as friends instead of enemies.
Chloe
Jones-
I think we can do that.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Good.
Chloe
Jones-
Good.
Mack
Dylan Cooper-
Friends.
Chloe
Jones-
Friends.
(Chloe walks away.)
