Biography

Early Life

Mackenzie Dylan "Mack" Cooper Jr. was born March 2, 1997, by Mackenzie Dylan Cooper Sr., and his mistress, Alana Rivera. At the same time, Mackenzie's soon-to-be ex-wife, Brooke Jonson conceived what would be Mack's half brother, Devon Jonson. Mackenzie and Brooke finalized their divorce before the birth of Mack and Devon. Mackenzie and Alana eloped, and Devon was born soon after. Mackenzie sued for full custody of his son, and after the law suit was settled, Alana gave birth to Mack, and a surprising twin brother, Zach. Mackenzie and Alana realized that they couldn't raise three kids, so they gave Zach away, and kept Devon and Mack. ("The Character Files")

Mack and Devon grew up in New York City in a rich part of town. Mack was the golden child, and Mackenzie and Alana's favorite. Devon was often neglected by his parents, and holds a lot of resentment towards Mack. ("The Opening/Blood and Water/The Character Files") In seventh grade, Mack dated a girl named Raven, who was evil, vindictive, and self-absorbed. Mack finally decided to break up with her after he saw her true colors. Raven went insane after the break up, and swore revenge. ("The Raven Reveal") The summer after eighth grade, Mack and Devon go to Paris, France where they meet and befriend Trevor Mitchel. ("The Opening")

Season 1

Mack Dylan Cooper, and his half brother, Devon Jonson, start attending a private boarding school that is owned by their father on his island, the Springs. Mack and Devon meet up with their mansion-mate, Trevor Mitchel. Mack quickly clashes with Stephanie Williams. Mack and Devon also befriend Penelope Ann Huff and Jo Martinez. When Mack, Devon, and Trevor get to their new mansion, they
find out that they have to share with Josh Finklestein. Mack plots of a way to get Josh expelled. Mack reluctantly pays Stephanie to cause a scene in class that results in Josh being forced off the Springs.
At the end, Mack thanks Stephanie, and pays her. ("The Opening")

Mack and Trevor are at the hangout when they see the new girl, Chloe Jones. Mack runs into Chloe later on, and asks her out on a date. When Mack and Chloe go on their first date, Penelope, Devon, Jo, and Trevor follow the couple to spy on them. When Mack and Chloe catch the four friends spying on them, they get revenge by making them cater their second date. Mack and Chloe become an official couple. ("The New Girl in Town")

When Mack and Devon's grandfather dies, Mack inherits everything, why Devon inherits his grandfather's old horse. Mack and Penelope try to cheer up Devon, but he reveals his anger towards Mack. Mack confronts Devon later on that he shouldn't be jealous. Devon challenges Mack to a fight, the winner receives the Springs. Jo trains Mack while Stephanie trains Devon. Mack and Devon fight, but soon realize that it's stupid, and they make up. ("Blood and Water")


When Mack's family fires Penelope's family from the Springs Water company, Penelope tries to get Mack to rehire them. Mack tells Penelope that her families' bottles are poisoned, but if she can find a cure, then he will let her come back. Penelope makes Mack cancell his date with Chloe and come to the Bluff in order to show him what her scientists created. Penelope shows Mack the chemical, but instead, it explodes. Mack and Penelope start fighting, but Penelope pushes Mack against a wall and starts kissing him. Mack and Penelope fall over the cliff. Mack and Penelope are brought to the hospital where they share a room with the injured Stephanie, Jo, Trevor, and Bertha. ("Bottled Emotions")

The homecoming dance is coming up, and Mack and Chloe find a depressed Trevor that doesn't have 
a date. Trevor tells them that he likes Bertha Scar, so Mack and Chloe urge him to ask her out. Trevor does so, but is turned down. Moments later, Trevor meets Natalia Trunzo, and asks her out. After


Chloe finds out who Natalia really is, she tries to tell Trevor, which results in her avoiding Mack


during the  entire dance. Mack confronts Chloe about this, and she reveals Natalia's plan. Mack, Chloe

His first girlfriend was in the seventh grade. Her name was Raven and she was crazy about Mack. One day, Mack decided he wasn't in to her anymore and he broke it off. This left Raven heartbroken, angry, and she went crazy. The next year, Mack dated a girl named Karina, who also went crazy after Mack broke up with her.

In ninth grade, Mack dates Chloe Jones for the whole year. Mack and Chloe were even nicknamed McChloe. Out of everyone Mack has ever been with, though he would never admit it, he loved her the most and she felt the exact same way. Chloe fought with Penelope Ann Huff over Mack. Penelope always had a long lasting crush for Mack that he was completely aware of but just didn't return the feeling. When Chloe was out of town for an episode, Stephanie Williams got Mack to pretend to be her boyfriend so her sister wouldn't judge her. Mack and Chloe took a short break for a while where Mack started dating the evil, Sienna Grace. When Mack found out about Sienna's true nature, he broke up with her and reconciled with Chloe. Mack and Chloe break up again on their one year anniversary. Mack and Chloe still have feelings for one another.

Mack goes on a date with Portland Madison but they decide to just be friends and she starts dating Trevor Mitchel Mack later starts dating Angie Page. Mack and Angie get real serious which annoys Chloe. Penelope is not as mean to Angie as she was to Chloe. Mack and Angie date for rest of season two and also during “Mack Springs: A Summer Like No Other”.

Family/Friend/Enemy Relationships

Mack has lots of relationships with friends and family and even some enemies.

Chloe Jones

Chloe Jones is currently Mack's ex-girlfriend. Mack and Chloe fell in love from the moment they first met. Mack and Chloe dated the entire first season until they had a bad breakup. Even though they still loved each other deeply, they acted as they hated one another because they though each other hate one another. Even so, Mack and Chloe still care about each other but they just won't admit it.

Devon Jonson

Devon Jonson is Mack's half brother. During season one, Devon resented Mack because he felt Mack was more loved by the family. Devon began working with Penelope and started to rival Mack. Starting in season two though, Devon and Mack started to form a friendship and are now great brother's to each other.

Trevor Mitchel

Trevor Mitchel is Mack's best friend. Mack and Trevor have been best friends since the summer before they started going to the Springs. Mack and Trevor are mansion-mates along with Devon. Trevor is always there for Mack.

Angie Page

Angie Page is Mack's current girlfriend. Mack and Angie first started dating in season two. Mack claims he loves Angie and a lot more then he ever loved Chloe but even though he doesn't realize it, he still loves Chloe more. Angie loves Mack and is over protective of him.

Alana Rivera-Cooper and Mackenzie Dylan Cooper Sr.

Alana and Mackenzie Cooper are Mack's parents. They care for Mack very much and even think of him as their favorite child such as Mack inheriting their entire fortune when his parents die and him being named after his father.

Penelope Ann Huff

Penelope Ann Huff is Mack's frienemy. Mack doesn't care for her all that much due to an obsessive crush she has on him. Penelope's crush never wore off except for several of that last episodes of season two when she dated Derek Wang. When Mack and Chloe broke up, Mack took Penelope to homecoming but realized he didn't wanna be more than friends.

Zach Dylan Cooper

Zach Dylan Cooper is Mack's twin brother. Zach absolutely hates Mack because Zach was abandoned as a kid. Zach gets revenge on Mack twice but it does not end well for Zach.

Stephanie Williams

Stephanie Williams is Mack's frienemy turned friend. At first, Stephanie did not like Mack at all. She really didn't like him when he and Chloe broke up. During season two though, Mack and Stephanie became friends and remained that way even when Devon broke her heart.

Portland Madison

Portland Madison went on a date with Mack when they first met. The date didn't end well but Mack and Portland decided to remain friends even when Trevor started dating her. Portland died in the season finale after being fried by lightning.

Jo Martinez

Jo Martinez and Mack became friends the second they met. Mack and Jo were best friends throughout season one. Jo possibly had a crush on Mack when they first met. That crush wore off after he started dating
